Worship Update – 9.14.21
We’re keeping it flexible!
In response to changing COVID-19 conditions, we are going to plan to be outside as much as possible in the weeks ahead. At this time, worship will be outdoors, unless the weather is rainy or too windy. In those cases, we will move our worship indoors for that day, but masks will be required. Thank you to everyone for your support and understanding. We will continue to adjust restrictions as appropriate, so please continue to check back for updates.
We would invite you to bring along a chair and sit physically-distanced from those outside of your household. Indoor worship, due to inclement weather, will include wearing masks, not singing, and sitting physically distanced from other families. Worship will continue to be offered online each Sunday, as well.
We will also be starting up our Wednesday night worship opportunity beginning on Wednesday, September 15. This is open to anyone looking for an alternative to Sunday morning. Our confirmation students will be actively involved in this service and will begin class immediately after worship.
As numbers continue to rise, we will adjust how we worship at Peace to protect the most vulnerable in our community. Get vaccinated, wear a mask and let’s get to the other side of this pandemic! Thank you for your flexibility and we look forward to seeing you in worship.
As always, worship will continue to be live streamed online. Please worship with us however you feel most comfortable.
If you have any questions, please talk with a council member.
Small Groups at Peace – Council has approved small groups to meet at Peace using the following guidelines:
· A maximum of 10 people
· Masks & physical-distancing required
· Clean up & sanitize surfaces after meeting
· No shared food (i.e. potlucks)
· Eat while physically distanced
If your small group would like to meet at church, please schedule a time with Pastor Dawn or Donna.
Please note: These guidelines can change at any time due to the risk of COVID-19.
All are welcome… Peace Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America that was formed in 2010 to meet the needs of ELCA Lutherans and others looking for a new and exciting place to worship in Tomah, Wisconsin. We invite all to join us on our journey of faith! All are welcome regardless of age, disability, gender, nationality, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.
There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
