Spirit Led, Spirit Fed
The La Crosse Area Synod will be gathering once again at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa for its Synod Assembly. This year’s theme is Spirit Led, Spirit Fed and draws from Acts 2:43-47:
43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
This is a very important Assembly gathering for Peace Lutheran as the resolution will be put forth to accept Peace Lutheran into the La Crosse Area Synod!
Donna Berry, Joan Hanson and Pastor Sue Sheffer-Meyer will be serving as Peace Lutheran’s delegates at the Assembly. Pastor Sue and Donna will be leading a Bible Study and Testimony at 8:20 AM on Sunday June 12. They will be presenting a Power Point on Peace’s journey.
As part of this years’s assembly, members of Peace have been asked for the Assembly during the hours of midnight and 2 AM on June 12.
